PWC sought a truly modern and agile workspace for its team in Israel. In a post-COVID world, the company needed a space where there were barriers and organization, while still creating a transparent environment that encouraged employee connectedness. But regular glass alone failed to provide adequate flexibility for privacy without installing blinds or shutters which would interfere with the office’s minimal aesthetic. And regular plaster or drywall would make the space feel closed off and cramped.
To solve this challenge, Gauzy LCG® Smart Glass was installed in eight conference rooms throughout the building, ensuring the office space felt collaborative, but also had the option for more intimate meetings when required. A unique sticker was also applied to the glass, giving it a distinct ‘edge’.
Controlled with the simple flick of a wall switch, this high tech design upgrade is sure to boost productivity and optimize space efficiency. Glass allows natural light to flow freely throughout a space, which is known to enhance, morale, and both physical and psychological wellbeing.
