We are looking for a Production Technician to join our team in Florida. As a Production Technician, you will assemble small components and sub-assemblies to create a larger top-level part in accordance with work instructions and blueprints, for release to customers in accordance with internal and external quality requirements.

Aeronautics, a business unit of Gauzy, we are market leader in shading systems focused on the development, design, and manufacturing of comprehensive, customized award-winning products for aviation, marine, and special vehicles.

Located in Melbourne FL. 32901

Full-time 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm. Excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, AFLAC, and PTO.

Responsibilities

  • Aligns material and assembles parts to build more complex units using tools and machinery
  • Review samples, drawings, or work instructions to understand the specification of output and ensure output is of the highest quality
  • Inspects parts with precision and measuring tools while following Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)
  • Complies with safety, security, and quality management system requirements to ensure quality and timely customer delivery
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to read and analyze drawings
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems/issues
  • Mechanically inclined. Must be able to use tools and machinery
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Weight lift requirement 40 lbs

Advantage

  • Higher degree from technical school
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards
  • Aerospace or similar manufacturing background strongly desired
  • Good understanding of quality control principles
  • 1 year of experience
