About The Position

Creation of a permanent position (CDI) – On site in Brignais (69), 20mn SO from Lyon – 65/80K€ – Starting date : September

Gauzy LTD (NASDAQ: GAUZ) is a global leader in innovative technologies, specializing in advanced materials for automotive and aeronautics applications.

We are looking for a Strategic Procurement Global Manager to join our GAUZY SAS division. This position will be based at our headquarters in France, overseeing procurement globally. You wiil report to our Chief Operations Officer based in Tel Aviv.

Your mission ? you will oversee procurement processes for both Capex and Opex and lead strategic procurement processes across Gauzy’s business units. This role requires alignment and collaboration with business units globally in Aeronautics and Automotive. Additionally, you will spearhead initiatives to identify cost reductions and optimize sourcing worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive procurement strategy and long-term plans aligned with company goals and objectives, focusing primarily on cost reduction and profitability improvement.
  • Lead negotiations with existing strategic or high-cost suppliers to secure favorable contract terms
  • Conduct market research to onboard new suppliers globally, emphasizing competitive pricing and quality standards to support the company’s long-term growth.
  • Manage procurement activities for facility renovation projects, machinery, and other CAPEX/OPEX ensuring regulatory compliance and cost optimization.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers worldwide to foster collaboration, innovation, and mutual value creation.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Business Units, including executives, site directors, Purchasing and Procurement, Operations and finance teams, to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Prepare and present yearly and quarterly plans to executive management, ensuring global prioritization through data presentation and ROI calculations.
  • Support and facilitate strategic projects that align with the priorities set by global management and BU executives. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation within Automotive, Aeronautics, or similar manufacturing industries.
  • Proven track record of driving cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain optimization initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker capable of anticipating trends, identifying opportunities, and developing innovative procurement strategies. 
  • English and french fluent


Rémunération & advantages :

From 65 to 80 K€ gross per year, to be defined according to profile and experience

  • Forfait 218 jours avec 12 RTT
  • Tickets restaurant d’une valeur de 10€ (pris en charge à 60%)

  • Remboursement abonnement transport (75%) / Indemnité transport (entre 22€ et 42€/mois)
