R&D Research Assistant

We are seeking a talented and motivated R&D Research Assistant to join our materials team and contribute to the development of smart window technologies. In this role, you will engage in innovative research and development of polymers and nano particles for our diverse products, through various chemistry synthesis methods and techniques, in a supportive and dynamic team that values creativity, innovation, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist R&D researchers in planning, executing, and documenting experiments.
  • Perform chemistry experiments in our R&D synthesis labs including advanced organic techniques, such as reflux, dean-stark, ball milling, evaporators, distillation, sonication, and more.
  • Use advanced techniques such as NMR, GPC, GC-MS, rheology, and SEM to analyze and characterize innovative materials.
  • Conduct analytical measurements, including electro-optical and microscopic evaluations (Haze-gard, light microscope, spectrophotometer), to evaluate and improve film properties.
  • Analyze, document, and interpret experimental data, creating detailed reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Chemistry – a must
  • Hands-on experience in basic lab work – a must
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal – a must
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in an agile environment
