To support the growth and expansion of Gauzy’s architectural business, we are seeking a Sales Manager to lead projects with top partners in the window and partition glazing industry and to create new leads and business opportunities within the office design sector in Australia.

This role offers an opportunity to develop expertise in the evolving windows, partitions, and smart office design industries. You will manage key accounts and technology-driven projects while working within an entrepreneurial start-up environment.

Gauzy’s Architecture Business Unit brings our innovative smart glass products to built environments, redefining privacy, shading, and digital display experiences in the spaces where we live and work.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities in Australia’s office design industry to increase demand for switchable glass walls.
  • Identify and develop new projects in the windows and partitions market, enhancing customer interactions.
  • Manage relationships with key accounts to ensure strong customer engagement.
  • Expand into other potential market segments, such as healthcare, premium residential, and hospitality.
  • Act as the liaison between customers and Smart Glass glazing partners in Australia.
  • Oversee project objectives and ensure successful execution.
  • Collaborate with the international sales team to align on leads and opportunities for growth in Australia.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience managing large office development projects in the office design industry
  • BSc or MSc in Interior Design/Architecture, or similar qualifications (preferred)
  • Experience in the commercial partitions industry
  • Familiarity with the Smart Glass industry (an advantage)
  • Strong understanding of the office design industry, with the motivation to generate new leads across various sectors
  • Ability to work under pressure, self-driven, flexible, and eager to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to present projects at the C-Level
