R&D Synthesis Researcher
About The Position

We are seeking an innovative Synthesis Researcher to join our materials team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, synthesis, optimization and characterization of organic and inorganic nanoparticles, as well as organic polymers and small molecules. This position requires hands-on experience in laboratory and wet chemistry development, in a supportive and dynamic team that values creativity, innovation, and collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Synthesis of organic polymers and small molecules.
- Optimize syntheses processes to improve efficiency, yield, and material properties, as well as stability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Characterize synthesized materials using techniques such as SEM, TEM, XRD, DLS, GPC, NMR, FTIR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and rheology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate synthesized materials into new product development.
- Analyze, document, and present experimental results, providing insights for further development.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in polymer and nanoparticle synthesis to drive innovation.
Requirements
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemistry – a must
- Proven experience in inorganic and organic nanoparticle synthesis and characterization – an advantage
- Hands-on experience with wet-chemistry techniques
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in an agile environment
- Design, synthesize, and develop organic and inorganic nanoparticles for advanced material applications
