The Gauzy IAA 2021 Experience
Advanced automotive glazing that redefines the function of interior and exterior vehicle glass starts with advanced materials. Independently and in collaboration with industry leading partners and contributors, Gauzy proudly presented innovative applications for its PDLC and SPD LCG® at the 2021 IAA Auto Show in Munich. Explore our technologies and the collaborations that are a driving force in future focused mobility solutions by reliving the event with this recap below.
LCG® Panoramic Sunroofs
Segmented or unsegmented high curvature panoramic or multizone sunroofs with thin glazing provide dynamic solar and light control, shading, aesthetic designs with optimized space for more comfortable interiors.
PDLC & SPD Sunroof
Dual zone panoramic sunroof with segmented SPD & PDLC glass. Combining both technologies creates a comprehensive approach to precise light control with the added benefits of thermal and visual comfort for both the passenger and driver. Each technology processes a unique benefit and this variation utilizes both product’s strengths.
PDLC Panoramic Sunroof
With a high 3D curvature and ultrathin glazing, this multisegment PDLC sunroof underwent a thermoforming process to gain its unique shape. Optimized to operate in wide temperature ranges, PDLC with IR blocking capabilities keeps interiors cool yet bright while blocking direct glare that disturbs vehicle occupants.
Known as The Architects Of Innovation, Gauzy’s long standing partner Vision Systems, are a leading system supplier of dimmable solutions to renowned key players of the transport industry. Vision systems offers a full range of products setting a standard in the field of smart glass, passenger comfort and safety.
