Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and construction of a mini pilot plant.
- Lead the scale-up manufacturing processes from Lab manufacturing to mini pilot scale.
- Lead and facilitate new processes.
- Setup, troubleshoot and operate processes and equipment
- Develop operating disciplines and safe operating procedures for mini pilot plant trials and repetitive manufacturing
- Manage interfaces- R&D, Purchasing department, outsourced suppliers etc.
- Identify and evaluate improvement opportunities and optimize mini pilot plant assets and equipment
- Manage the collaboration with the regulatory authorities- environmental, fire department, health, work office etc.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Chemical /Biotechnology engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- Small/medium project management experience
- Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and methods such as organic synthesis
- Good communication skills with superiors, peers, and subordinates
- Team player, with experience working in a matrix organizational structure
- Proficient in both written and oral communication, in both Hebrew and English
- Experience in process and equipment qualification/validation
- Synthetic chemistry background an advantage
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize deliverables based upon project criticality
